SECTION B - CHARACTERIZATION AND PURIFICATION OF CHEMICAL SUBSTANCES
1. To determine the melting point of the given solid organic compound.
2. To determine the boiling point of a given organic liquid.
3. To prepare the crystals of potash alum [K₂SO₄ . Al₂(SO₄)₃ . 24H₂O] from the crude sample.
4. To prepare the crystals of copper sulfate (CuSO4 .5H2O) from the given impure sample of blue vitriol.
5. To prepare the crystals of benzoic acid (C6H5COOH) from the given impure sample of benzoic acid.

SECTION C - EXPERIMENTS BASED ON pH
