Introduction

HNB Uttarakhand Medical Education University, Dehradun invites online application for admission following courses for the academic session 2021-2022

  • M.B.B.S./B.D.S. Courses in Government/Private Medical/Dental Colleges/Private Medical college affiliated with State Private University of Uttarakhand against State Quota Seats.
  • M.B.B.S./B.D.S. Courses in Private Medical/Dental Colleges/Private Medical college affiliated with State Private University of Uttarakhand against All India- Management Quota Seats.

The Counselling will be conducted on the basis of merit of NEET UG- 2021 examination and eligibility criteria & other terms and conditions as per the NEET UG-2021 Uttarakhand state centralised counselling Information Bulletin

Online Registration and Security Fee Submission Starts: 17 February 2022 from 1.00 PM

Online Registration and Security Fee Submission Ends:  25 February 2022 upto 2.00 PM

Publication of State Merit List: 26 February 2022

Last Date to Surrender Round 1 Allotted Seat: 27 February 2022 upto 5.00 PM

Publication of Seat Metrix: 27 February 2022 8.00 PM

Choice Filling / Locking Starts: 27 February 2022 from 9.00 PM

Choice Filling / Locking Ends: 28 February 2022 upto 9.00 PM

Date Processing: 1 March 2022

Publication of Allotment Result: 2 March 2022 after 8.00 PM

Registration facility is available in each round of counseling as notified in counseling schedule. To become eligible to participate in any particular round of counseling candidate have to register themselves and fill their Fresh choices in that particular round of counseling. 

 

Eligibility for State Quota

a) Academic Qualification

  • Is an Indian citizen
  • The eligibility criteria of age for NEET UG–2021 Uttarakhand State Centralised Counselling will be as per the latest guidelines/ order of NTA (NEET UG-2021 examination conducting body)/Hon’ble courts/ NMC/ DCI/ Government of India..
  • The candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio- technology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50 % marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology at the qualifying examination. In respect of candidates belonging to scheduled Caste/scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio- technology taken together in qualifying examination be 40% instead of 50% for General/EWS candidates. Further, for Persons with disability the minimum of 45% marks for General-PH & EWS-PH candidates
  • Must have fulfilled all eligibility criteria mentioned in the NEET UG-2021 Information bulletin and qualified NEET UG-2021 examination.

b) Domicile

Candidates who are Domicile/Permanent residents of Uttarakhand and have passed both High
school (10th) and Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examination from a recognized educational
institution situated in the State of Uttarakhand.

OR

Candidates who are not Domicile/Permanent residents of Uttarakhand but have passed both
High school (10th) and Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examination from a recognized
educational institutions situated in the State of Uttarakhand shall also be eligible but they will
not be entitled for any type of reservation.

OR

Candidates who are Domicile/Permanent residents of Uttarakhand but have passed High school
(10th) and/or Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examination from a recognized educational
institutions situated outside the State of Uttarakhand shall also be eligible.

Important Note:

  • State quota candidate are eligible for both the state and all India –Management quota on payment of required security deposit,,
  • Non domicile & 10th + 12th both from outside UK and Kashmiri migrant candidate (All categories) will only eligible for Govt. Medical College reserved (WKM) seats and have to pay Rs- 10000 as security fee.

 

 

Eligibility for All India Quota

Counselling Registration Fee (Non-Refundable)

Rs 5000/- for Round 1 and Round 2

Rs 3000/- for Mop-Up Rounds

 

Counselling Security Fee (Refundable or Forfeited)

  • For Govt. colleges Rs-10,000/-(5,000/- For SC/ST/OBC of Uttarakhand domicile only)
  • For Private Medical colleges Rs- 1,00,000/- for all category
  • For Private Dental Colleges Rs. 10,000/- for all category.

Note: If candidate is opting for more than one of above mentioned category institution, the higher Security amount will be applicable.

 

Choice Filling and Locking

  • After completing the form, the candidate has to submit the SAVE button and recheck the entries. The candidate if satisfied can finally LOCK the application form and take out the print of the application form.
  • If a candidate failed to fill any choice or SAVE the form he/she will not be eligible for seat allotment in that particular round.
  • If candidate has SAVED the form but failed to finally lock the filled in choices, the same will be locked automatically as per the time specified in the counseling schedule. If a candidate failed to fill any choice, he/she will not be eligible for seat allotment in that particular round.
  • Candidates have to fill new/fresh choices in each round of counseling to become eligible for seat allotment in that particular round.
  • Candidate can give as many choices as he/she wishes during online choice filling. However choices should be in order of candidate’s preference & eligibility.
  • Candidates are advised to select the choices very carefully. If candidate is not interested in
    any specific Quota/College/Course, it is advised not to opt for that specific Quota/College/
    Course seat in choice filling process as allotment once done will not be altered. University/
    Counselling Board will not be responsible for any mistake done at the part of the candidate.
  • Candidate has to fill up the fresh choices/quota for each subsequent rounds of counselling separately irrespective of previous choices/quota.

 

Forfeiture of Fee

After the second round of counselling for All India Quota seats, the students who taken admission in All India Quota seats should not be allowed/permitted to vacant the seats. This would ensure that very few seats are reverted to the State Quota and also all India Quota seats are filled by students from the All India merit list only. The students who take admission and secure admission in Deemed Universities pursuant to the second round of counselling conducted by the
DGHS shall not be eligible to participate in any other Counselling.

On the similar ground the candidates joined through NEET UG 2021 Uttarakhand state centralized counseling in second and further rounds of counselling will not be permitted to vacate/resign/ surrender the seat.

Important Note:

  • Free exit for 1st Round means if a candidate allotted a seat in 1st Round and even if candidate does not report/join the allotted college he would not be penalized and eligible for subsequent rounds.
  • Exit with forfeiture means if a candidate allotted a NEW/FRESH seat in 2nd round of counselling and does not want to join the allotted seat he can still exit with forfeiture (losing security amount deposited).Once candidate joined the allotted seat would not be eligible for resigning/surrender of joined seat
  • Candidates who have been allotted seat in round I of counseling can opt for seat up gradation in round II of counseling only.
  • If a candidate has upgraded in the round II the seat allotted in round I gets automatically cancelled and allotted to next eligible candidate in merit. Candidates are advised to select choices carefully
  • No Candidate will be permitted to vacate his/her admitted /joined seat in second and further round of counseling.

 

Refund of Security Fee

The security fee of the candidates will be refunded after 30 days after completion of all round
of counselling, if not forfeited, by online mode only through the bank account provided in the
online application form by the candidate.

  • Bank Account Details (Account Number / Account Holder Name / Account Holder PAN Card)
  • Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking for Payment
  • Class 12th Marksheet
  • NEET Score Card
  • Domicile Certification issued by State of Uttarakhand (if Applicable)
  • Category Certification issued by State of Uttarakhand by (if Applicable)
  • Certificate of Registration (Kashmiri Migrant Candidate)
  • Proof of property in Kashmir of the parent of the candidate (Kashmiri Migrant Candidate)
  • Proof of current residence (such as Ration Card/Photo Identity Card issued by the election
    Commissioner /driving license/ Aadhar card/passport etc.) (Kashmiri Migrant Candidate)

 

Counselling Process

  • Download allotment letter
  • Follow the instructions regarding payment of centralized advance tuition fee available on the allotment letter & as notified in the University website.
  • After this candidate should report personally to the allotted college along with the following documents for completion of further admission process within specified period
    • Copy of allotment letter
    • Proof of payment of centralized advance tuition fee.
    • High School (10th) Certificate for Age proof.
    • Intermediate (10+2) Certificate.
    • Intermediate (10+2) Mark sheet
    • NEET UG 2021 Admit Card (issued by NTA)
    • NEET UG 2021 Result/Rank letter (issued by NTA)
    • Certificate of Reserve category, if applicable.
    • Certificate of Sub Category, if applicable. (for Domicile/Permanent resident of Uttarakhand only)
    • PWD category certificate issued by the Special Medical Board constituted by the Director
      General Medical Health & Family welfare, Uttarakhand only, if applicable.
    • Certificates required for Ward of Kashmiri Migrants, if applicable.(please refer to Information bulletin)
    • Domicile Certificate ( For Uttarakhand candidate only)
    • Valid ID proof (preferably Aadhaar Card/Passport/ PAN card/driving license , etc)
    • Other document as per the requirement of the concerned college (kindly visit the college
      website or contact the concerned person)
    • Remaining amount Bank Demand Draft (tuition fee/hostel/mess charges etc as per the
      allotted college)
  • After doing the above mentioned formalities/procedure, the admission process will only be
    completed once the candidate gets the admission letter issued by the concerned college within the specified time period mentioned in the allotment letter. Hence, the candidates are required to make necessary arrangement from his/her side well in time to complete the whole admission process within the specified time period of that particular round.
  • Candidates who have deposited their original documents with any other Institute/ College/
    University and come for admission with a certificate stating that “their original certificates are deposited with the Institute / College / University” will NOT be allowed to take admission in allotted Medical/DentalCollege.
