Uttar Pradesh NEET UG Counseling (MBBS AND BDS) 2021 Application Details

Introduction

Directorate of Medical & Health Services, Uttar Pradesh invites online applications for Admission into Medical and Dental Course for academic session 2021-22. Admission will be done on the basis of NEET 2021 merit.

UP NEET UG Counseling 2021 Procedure

  • For Participation in Counseling NEET 2021 candidates will have to compulsorily register online by depositing registration fee online.
  • Online registered candidates will have to get their documents verified at the Nodel Centers, selected by them at the time of registration. For this they will have to appear in person with their original documents at the Nodel Centre.
  • Only those candidates will be eligible for choice filling whose original documents have been verified at the Nodel centre and they have deposited their security Fee
  • After seat allotment, a candidate has to take the admission compulsorily. If admission is not taken then his/her security money will be forfeited.

 

 

UP NEET UG Counseling 2021 Dates Round 2

Date of Online Registration Starts: 17 February 2022 from 11.00 AM

UP NEET UG Counselling 2021 Registration Last Date: 21 February 2022

Physically Security Fee Submission / Document Verification by Fresh Candidates: 18 February to 22 February 2022

Publication of Merit List: 22 February 2022

Online Choice Filling (Only After Security Fee Submission and Document Verification): 4 March (2.00 PM) to 7 March (2.00 PM) 2022

Seat Allotment Result: 8 Or 9 March 2022

Downloading Allotment Letter / Joint Allotment College: 9 March to 14 March 2022 (Public Holiday Excluded)

 

UP NEET UG Counseling 2021 Eligibility

a) State Quota

i) Must have fulfilled all eligibility criteria mentioned in the NEET UG-2021 Information bulletin and qualified NEET UG-2021 examination.

ii) Candidates must be Domicile/Permanent residents of Uttar Pradesh.

OR

Candidates who are not Domicile/Permanent residents of Uttar Pradesh but have passed both High school (10th) and Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examination from a recognized educational institutions situated in the State of Uttar Pradesh shall also be eligible

OR

Candidates who are Domicile/Permanent residents of Uttar Pradesh but have passed any one High school (10th) and Intermediate (10+2) or Both equivalent examination from a recognized educational institutions outside State of Uttar Pradesh shall also be eligible.

 

b) Private Medical / Dental Colleges / Institutes / Minority Colleges

Any qualified candidates of NEET-UG-2021 is Eligible to apply, for which there will be no condition of schooling and Domicile/Permanent residents.

c) Age

A candidate must not be below 17 years as on 31 December 2021 i.e. the candidate should not be born on or before 31 December 2004.

d) Education

The Candidate must have passed in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% Marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology at the qualifying examination as mentioned in the Regulations of NMC and DCI. In addition they must have got a rank in the merit of NEET UG 2021 for admission to Undergraduate Medical Courses.

In respect of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes (NCL), the minimum marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Biotechnology taken together in qualifying examination shall be 40% marks instead of 50% marks for Unreserved and General EWS Candidates. In respect of PwBD candidates as per NMC and DCI Regulations, the minimum marks in the qualifying examination in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (or Botany and Zoology) / Biotechnology taken together shall be 40% instead of 50%.

List of Documents to be Produced at the Nodel Centre

At the time of registration candidate can choose document verification centre as per his / her convenience, after this candidate should present with their following original documents at the document verification nodel centre. Physical Presence of Candidate is mandatory

  • NEET Admit Card
  • NEET Score Card
  • Class 10th Marksheet
  • Class 12th Marksheet
  • Photo ID (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Driving Licence, Passport)
  • Domicile Certificate (If Applicable)
  • Category Certificate (If Applicable)
  • UP NEET UG 2021 Registration Slip
  • Applicable Security Fee as Demand Draft

 

UP NEET  UG Counselling 2021 Registration Fees (Non-Refundable)

a) Round 1 and Round 2

For Participation in Counseling NEET 2021 candidates will have to compulsorily register online by depositing Rs 2000/- online.

b) Mop Up Round

For Mop Up Round all Candidates are required to Pay Rs 1000/- Online 

 

Security Fee (Refunded or Forfeited)

Candidates will have to deposit security fee at the time of Document verification as Bank Demand Draft at Nodel Centre

  • Rs 30,000/- for Government Medical / Dental Colleges / Institutes /  State Universities
  • Rs 2,00,000 for Private Medical Colleges / Institutes / State Universities
  • Rs 1,00,000 for  Private Dental Colleges / Institutes / State Universities

 

a) Refund of Security Fee

  • If any candidate join the Allotted College his/her security money will be refunded.
  • If any candidate does not allotted seat in Round 1 and Round 2 is also eligible for Refund and he/she will collect the Security Money DD from Nodel Centre.
  • If any Candidate who have joined seat in Round 1 and also allotted seat in All India Quota Counseling or any other State Counseling and resigns TWO DAYS PRIOR before choice filling of Round 2 will eligible for Refund of Security Fee after deduction of 10%. For this, Candidate is required to produce allotment letter of All India Quota Counseling or any other State Counseling.
  • If any Candidate who joined seat in Round 1 and he /she want to resign form allotted seat can resigns TWO DAYS PRIOR before choice filling of Round 2 will eligible for Refund of 50% of Security Fee. 
  • The Candidate shall not allowed to surrender seat after completion of Round 2 but If any candidate wants to resign from allotted seat can resign from TWO DAYS PRIOR before started of Mop Up Round will eligible for Refund of both 50% Amount of Security Fee and Tuition Fee individually.

b) Forfeiture of Security Fee

After Choice filing if seat is allotted,  a candidate has to take the admission compulsorily. If admission is not taken then his/her security money will be forfeited. During Choice filling, candidates should take care and opt for the colleges and course in which he/she is genuinely interested.  

 

Choice Filling and Locking

  • Only those candidates will be eligible for choice filling whose original documents have been verified at the nodel centre and they have deposited their security Fee
  • Registered candidates should ensure to lock their choices after the choice filling, If after choice filling the choices are not locked then the choices of such candidates will not be considered for seat allotment process.
  • During Choice filling, candidates should take care and opt for the colleges and course in which he/she is genuinely interested. After Choice filing if seat is allotted,  a candidate has to take the admission compulsorily. If admission is not taken then his/her security money will be forfeited.

 

Number of Rounds

a) Round 1 and Round 2

  • Counseling process will be done in two rounds i.e. Round 1 and Round 2
  • After Choice Filling, It is mandatory to Lock filled choices otherwise it will be considered null
  • It is mandatory to Join the Allotted College in Round 1 otherwise security money will be forfeited. He/she will have to pay Security Fee again for Round 2
  • The candidate who has not been allotted seat in round 1 are also allowed to participate in round 2.
  • Already registered candidate in round 1 who have filled up choice in round 1 and were allotted and admitted in Round 1 are allowed to reshuffle / upgrade in round 2. It is mandatory for candidate to Join the Allotted Seat in Round 2, if allotted. His / Her Previous allotted seat (Round 1) will be automatically cancelled. If no seat allotted in Round 2, his /her previous seat will be remain allotted.
  • Already registered candidate in round 1 who have filled up choice in round 1 and were allotted and admitted in Round 1 are allowed to reshuffle / upgrade in round 2. If any candidate fill the previous Joined College and allotted the same, will have to complete the admission process again other seat will be cancelled.

b) Mop Up Round

  • To participate in Mop-Up Round, all candidates will have to Register afresh and Pay registration Fee Again
  • Only  The Candidates, who remain not allowed till round 2, are allowed to participate in Mop Up Round. Such candidates are not required to pay Security Fee Again.
  • Fresh registration will be allowed in Mop Up Round.
  • Any candidate who have resigned from Round 1 or Round 2, is not eligible for Mop-Up Round
