Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Second Year Examination(+ 2) conducted by State Board of School Examinations, Tamil Nadu need not apply for Eligibility Certificate from this University. 

Candidates should obtain Eligibility Certificate from the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University for admission to the affiliated Institutions of this University for courses (MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, Nursing, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, UG Allied Health Sciences (AHS))

NOTE: The Eligibility Certificate will not be issued in person. 

Eligibility

Following candidates should obtain Eligibility Certificate from the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University for admission to Undergraduate degree course to the affiliated Institutions of this University.

• Candidates who have passed any qualifying examination other than the Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu.
• Candidates who have passed +2 examination from the Central Board of Secondary  Education  (CBSE)/  Indian   School   Certificate  Examination (ISCE) in the State of Tamil Nadu / Other states.
• Candidates who have passed +2 / Higher Secondary Examination/ other qualifying examinations from States outside Tamil Nadu.
• Non Resident Indian(NRI)/Overseas Citizen of India(OCI)/ Persons of Indian Origin(PIO) candidates.
• Foreign Nationals

Documents required

Candidate has to upload the self attested scanned copies of the following documents for the issue of Eligibility Certificate for admission to First year degree course. The size of the documents should not be more than 100 Kb :

• Statement of Marks of Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (+2 Course or Equivalent Examination)
• Aadhaar Card
• Proof for Date of Birth (Birth certificate, Transfer Certificate, 10th Standard mark Sheet/Aadhaar card etc.)
• Migration Certificate
• Declaration Certificate
• NEET score card for M.B.B.S., B.D.S., AYUSH (other than Yoga and Naturopathy)
• Community Certificate (If Applicable)

Application Fee

Candidates applying for M.B.B.S. / B.D.S. Degree course has to remit a sum of INR 1,400/- + INR 252/- (18% GST amount) towards the cost of application and Eligibility Certificate Fee
