About

Guru Ravidas Ayurved University Punjab invites Online Applications from NEET-2021 qualified candidates for admissions to BAMS/BHMS/BUMS courses under state quota in Government College and State quota and All India quota in private colleges in the state of Punjab. . 15% seats are of All India Quota and remaining 85% seats are of State Quota.

First two/three round of counseling for admission to BAMS/BHMS/BUMS course NEET-UG-2021 will be conducted through online mode and thereafter Physical counseling will be conducted.

Eligibility 

a) BAMS

i) The Candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% Marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology at the qualifying examination mentioned above for unreserved candidates and 40% marks in respect of the SC, ST and OBC

ii) Candidate with benchmark disabilities as specified under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 the Minimum qualifying marks in qualifying examination in Physics, Chemistry and Biology shall be 45% for General Category and 40% for SC, ST and OBC

 

ii) BHMS

i) The Candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% Marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology at the qualifying examination mentioned above for unreserved candidates and 40% marks in respect of the SC, ST and OBC

ii) Candidate with benchmark disabilities as specified under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 the Minimum qualifying marks in qualifying examination in Physics, Chemistry and Biology shall be 45% for General Category and 40% for SC, ST and OBC

 

iii) BUMS

i) The Candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% Marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology at the qualifying examination mentioned above for unreserved candidates and 40% marks in respect of the SC, ST and OBC

ii) Candidate with benchmark disabilities as specified under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 the Minimum qualifying marks in qualifying examination in Physics, Chemistry and Biology shall be 45% for General Category and 40% for SC, ST and OBC

iii) The Candidate must have passed Urdu / Arabic / Persian as a subject either at the qualifying examination or at High School / Matriculation / Secondary Examination or equivalent / Urdu Diploma equivalent to 10th Class form the Institute recognized by State / Central Govt or equivalent 

 

i) Age

No Candidate shall be admitted to BAMS / BUMS Degree Course unless he has attained the age of 17 Years on or before the 31 December of the year of his / her admission in the first year of the course.

 

ii) NEET 2021

In order to be eligible for admission to BAMS an BUMS courses for a particular academic year, it shall be necessary for a candidate to qualify the NEET 2021 examinations and to obtain minimum of marks 50th Percentile in National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET UG 2021) conducted by NTA for admission to BAMS and BUMS courses held for the academic year 2021-2022. However, in respect of Candidates belonging to schedule castes, schedule tribes, other backward classes, the minimum marks shall be at 40th percentile. In respect of PwBD candidates, the minimum marks shall be at 45th Percentile for UR-PwBD and 40th Percentile for SC-PwBD, ST-PwD and OBC-PwD Candidates

 

Application Fee

Registration Fee for State Quota Candidates is Rs. 4,600/- (Rs. 3750/- for SC candidates) and for All India Quota candidates is Rs. 2,000/-

Counselling

a) Online counselling will be conducted through University Website and online counselling form will be made available on University website as per dates specified in Important Dates column.

b) In case of physical counselling, personal appearance of candidates is essential at the time of interview/counseling and exemptions from personal appearance may not be sought as it shall not be granted.

c) The seat will be allotted to the candidate as per merit list and institutional preferences filled by him/her in the online application form. The candidate has  to report to his/her respective college for checking of eligibility, document verification and medical checkup. The candidates are required to produce his/her original documents/credentials for verification.

d) After the verification of the documents and checking of eligibility, candidate will deposit fee in the shape of demand draft of nationalized bank in the favour of Registrar Guru Ravidas Ayurved University payable at Hoshiarpur

e) The allotment of seat and college shall be made as per the choice of the candidate at the time of the counselling by the Admission Committee on the basis of the merit determined as per marks obtained by the candidate in NEET-UG-2021 and other terms and conditions contained in the Punjab Government Notification for admission to BAMS/BHMS/BUMS Courses.

f) Allocation of seat is provisional subject to verification of original documents / checking of eligibility by the Principal of concerned Ayurvedic / Homoeopathy / Unani Colleges. After provisional allocation of seat, candidate shall have to report to the allocated college for getting challan form, verification of documents and checking of eligibility. It is the sole responsibility of the Principal to authenticate the eligibility of the provisionally allocated candidate before their joining/admission.

g) Candidate will deposit tuition fee (as per Punjab Govt. notification) in the form of Demand Draft in the favour of Registrar Guru Ravidas Ayurved University, Payable at Hoshiarpur . Candidate will report for medical checkup and joining after submission of proof of fee deposition to the respective college within stipulated time period, failing which allocated seat will stand cancelled automatically without any intimation to the candidate. In case of physical counselling candidate will have to deposit tuition fee as specified in the
Punjab Govt. notification on the spot at the venue of counselling in the shape of Demand Draft in favour of “Registrar, Guru Ravidas Ayurved University ” payable at “Hoshiarpur” failing which his/her provisional selection will be treated as cancelled without any intimation to the candidate.
