Introduction

State Cell Maharashtra invites online Applications to admission into MBBS / BDS and other health Sciences courses i.e BAMS / BHMS / BPTh / BOTh / BASLP / BP&O & B.Sc (Nursing) in State Government/Corporation/Private & Minority Colleges on the basis of NEET UG 2021 Merit

85% seats under State quota will be made available for all the candidates from the State and these seats shall be filled on the basis of NEET Merit list. There shall be constitutional and female reservation in these seats as per prevailing Rules in this behalf.

15% seats in Medical / Dental / AYUSH of Maharashtra will be filled by Directorate General of Health Services, New Delhi (DGHS)/ AACCC on the  basis of All India NEET Rank

General Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must be registered with State CET cell, Mumbai through online application on website of State CET Cell.

a) Indian Citizen

b) Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Candidate will be eligible for Government / Corporation / Government Aided / Private unaided college for academic year 2021-22 only. Provided such candidate have passed 10th & 12th from the State of Maharashtra and should be domicile of Maharashtra or staying in state of Maharashtra for minimum period of 10 years.

c) Eligibility for Institutional Quota (For MBBS and BDS Course):- Any eligible candidates on All India basis can be admitted including non-Resident Indians (NRI) and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), as well as Outside Maharashtra candidate (OMS) who had appeared for the National Eligibility cum-Entrance Test and declared eligible for admission to undergraduate Medical and Dental courses,

d) Eligibility for Institutional Quota (For Courses other than MBBS and BDS Course): Any eligible candidates on All India basis can be admitted including non-Resident Indians (NRI) and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), as well as Outside Maharashtra candidate (OMS) who had appeared for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test and declared eligible for admission to undergraduate  Ayurved, Unani, Homeopathy, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Prosthetic and Orthotics and B.Sc Nursing Courses

e) Domicile of Candidate: The Candidates must be Domicile of Maharashtra (Except candidates under clauses (Please refer 4.1.3, 4.1.4, 4.7, 4.8, Annexure “C” & Annexure “E” for exception)

f) The candidate must be born on or before 31st December 2004 to be eligible for all Heath Science Courses

f) The candidate must have passed the SSC or equivalent examination from an Institution situated in the state of Maharashtra (Please refer 4.1.3, 4.1.4, 4.7, 4.8, Annexure “C” & Annexure “E” for exception)

g) The candidate must have passed the qualifying examination i.e. Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC/12th Standard) or equivalent examination, from an Institution situated in the State of Maharashtra (Please refer 4.1.3, 4.1.4, 4.7, 4.8, Annexure”C” & Annexure “E” for exception)

 

Eligibility criteria of Qualifying Examination for Various Courses

a) For MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BUMS/BHMS: A candidate belonging to OPEN Category and EWS Category must have obtained not less than 50% (i.e. 150 out of 300) marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together at the HSC (or equivalent) Examination. A candidate belonging to constitutional reservation (Annexure- B except EWS Category) and constitutional reservation with Person With Disability claim must have obtained not less than 40% (i.e. 120 out of 300) marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together at the HSC (or equivalent) Examination. Person with disability candidate in General category must secure not less than 45% marks (i.e. 135 out of 300) in Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCB) taken together at the HSC (or equivalent) Examination or decided by respective Central Council.

Additional Essential Eligibility for BUMS: Candidate should have passed SSC (or equivalent) examination from the recognized board with Urdu or Arabic or Persian Language as one of the  subject.

b) For B.Sc. Nursing: A candidate should have passed in the subjects of PCB and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks taken together in PCB at the qualified examination i.e. (10 + 2). Furthermore, the candidates belonging to SC / ST or other 
backward classes, the marks obtained in PCB taken together in qualifying examination be 40% instead of 45% as stated above. English is a compulsory subject in 10 + 2 for being eligible for
admission to B.Sc(N) OR as prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council from time to time

c) For BPTh, BOTh, BASLP & BP & O courses: Clause (a) For MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BUMS/BHMS) is not applicable. Passing grade at HSC/12th Standard or equivalent examination is however necessary.

d) For admission to BP&O candidates who have passed 12th standard examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and / or Mathematics are eligible.

e) For admission to BASLP, candidates who have passed 12th standard examination with Physics, Biology, Chemistry and/or Mathematics and/or Computer Science are eligible

Application Fee

Cost of online application form of NEET-UG 2021 is Rs. 1000/- for State quota for all course and for Institutional quota Rs. 5000 and for both quota Rs. 6000/- for MBBS and BDS course only

 

List of Documents required 

The candidate need to upload original certificates at the time of registration and the same original documents shall be submitted at the time of admission to the college
