Eligibility & Admission
1. B. Tech
a) Eligibility Criteria
Minimum 50% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th)
Minimum 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics at Senior Secondary level (12th)
b) Selection
UPESEAT (UPES Engineering Aptitude Test) followed by Centralized Counselling
OR
Centralized Counselling through Merit rank for NON-Exam Category (JEE/Board Merit)
2. B.Des
a) Exam Pathway: Online UPES DAT (Design Aptitude Test)
Minimum 50% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th)
Followed by interview and portfolio presentation)
b) Non-Exam Pathway
Board Merit: – Minimum 65% marks in class X and XII (Any Stream)
Minimum 50% marks in class X and XII with valid JEE MAIN/UCEED/NID/NIFT scores.
Above eligible students are directly invited to interview and portfolio presentation
3. LLB
a) Examination Pathway:
Examination Pathway admissions through UPES Legal Studies Aptitude Test – CBT (Computer Based Test):
Minimum 50% Marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th)
Followed by Group Discussion and Interview only of students who have qualified ULSAT.
b) Non-Examination Pathway:
CLAT Merit / L-SAT India Merit
- For BA LLB (Hons)/ BBA LLB (Hons)/ B. Com, LLB (Hons) – Candidates with minimum 50% Marks in Higher & Senior Secondary (10th & 12th) and CLATAIR ranking up to 15000/ L-SAT India Percentile of 60 percentile or above will be exempted from appearing in ULSAT.
- For B. Tech LLB (Hons) Candidates with minimum 50% Marks in Higher & Senior Secondary (10th & 12th), minimum 50% Marks in PCM at Senior Secondary Level (12th) and CLAT AIR ranking up to 15000/ L-SAT India score of 60 percentile or above will be exempted from ULSAT.
Board Merit
- For BA LLB (Hons)/ BBA LLB (Hons)/B. Com LLB (Hons) – Candidates with 80% marks in 10th and 12th main five subjects (English as one of the compulsory Subject) are exempted from ULSAT.
- For B.Tech. LLB (Hons) Candidates with minimum 70% marks in 10th, 12th and 12th PCM (Physics, Chemistry & Math’s) are exempted from ULSA.
Up to 20% seats shall be filled through Board Merit/ CLAT AIR/ L-SAT India Category. In case, any seat remaining vacant UPES has the right to fill such seats through ULSAT.
4. B. Pharmacy
Minimum 50% Marks at Higher and Senior Secondary level (10th and 12th) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Math’s and English as a Major Subject
5. BBA
Eligibility: Minimum 50% marks in Class X and XII
Selection: Group Discussion and Personal Interview
6. BCA
Eligibility
50% marks in class 10th and 12th with Mathematics / Computer Science / Information Technology as one of the main Subject in Class 12th
