About
AIEESE (Primary) is one of the most prestigious Engineering Entrance Examinations of the country after JEE (Main) and JEE (Advanced). AIEESE Primary was coined in the year 2012 and started its journey. The motive of this entrance examination is to assist the Engineering and Bio-Engineering aspirants to avail an opportunity of admission to its participating institutes with up to four years tuition fee as Scholarship.
The Engineering aspirants who qualify AIEESE (Primary) Scholarship Examination are eligible to get admission to more than tens of hundreds engineering colleges in India on the basis of AIEESE (Primary) scorecard and through AIEESE Counselling. Every admission through AIEESE (Primary) comes with at least a basic scholarship where candidates can avail a chance to get a laptop or up to four years tuition fees.

Section A: 2000 students securing 85% or above marks in AIEESE (Primary) are eligible for scholarship (Tuition fee for full 4 years) for studying in any of Govt. approved AIEESE (Primary) participating institutes.
Section B: 8000 students securing marks more than or equal to 75% and less than 85% in AIEESE (Primary) are eligible for scholarship(Tuition fee for 1 year) for studying in any 1000 Govt. approved AIEESE (Primary) participating institutes.
Section C: 15000 students securing marks less than 75% in AIEESE (Primary) are eligible for scholarship (Standard Laptop) for studying in any 1000 Govt. approved AIEESE (Primary) participating institutes.
Note: It is mentioned in the above table that each successful candidate is eligible for a scholarship of at least a standard laptop as stated in section “C”, which will be made available to all qualifying applicants of AIEESE (Primary) – 2022.

Eligibility
a) Academic Criteria
The candidate must have passed the final examination of 10+2 (Class- XII) or its equivalent referred to as the qualifying examination with 50 % marks in all subject. Those appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination may also appear at AIEESE (Primary) – 2022 provisionally.
b) Age Limit
Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1st Oct. 1996 are eligible to apply for AIEESE (Primary) – 2022. However, in the case of Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Physically Handicapped (PH) candidates, upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years, i.e. SC, ST and PH candidates who are born on or after October 01, 1991 are also eligible. The date of birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board/University certificate shall only be considered valid.
Note: The total number of attempts for General and OBC candidates is three, whereas the total number of attempts for SC/ST/PH is five.
Examination Pattern
The entrance examination will be conducted online, offline or both, consisting of three sections namely Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology bearing equal weightage in terms of questions and marks. There shall be objective type questions.

The pattern of the examination shall be objective type based and there would be multiple choice questions with four options, having single correct answer (each correct answer carry four marks). The candidate is supposed to mark the right answer on the OMR sheet. For each incorrect response, one forth (1/4) of the total marks allotted to the question would be deducted. No deduction from the total score will be made, if no response is indicated for an item in the answer sheet. Please note that more than one response indicated against a question would be deemed as an incorrect response and will be negatively marked, even if one of the answer is correct the response shall be considered as negative.
NOTE: If you submit your test and confirm, you CANNOT take the test again.
- There will be 150 questions in your test
- You can only enter the test 30 minutes prior to the scheduled time, however the “Start test” button will be enabled at the scheduled start time, and you must click the same to start the test
- You may see “Elapsed Time” which indicates that the test time has already been started
- Please read each question twice before answering.

- You can navigate through the questions back and forth by clicking “Previous” or “Next” button
- You may also click the respective question number on the right hand side panel to reach that question
- You can toggle to any of the sections from the right-side navigation menu
- Section instructions will also be available both in the right-side navigation menu OR in the header for the current section
- Questions can be answered in any order within the given time
- Status of all questions will be displayed on the right hand side panel giving a snapshot of how many questions have been ‘Attempted’, ‘Skipped’, ‘Marked for Review’
- You can attempt unattempted questions or review attempted questions anytime during the test
- You can change your answers before clicking the “End Test” button
- Click the “Submit Test” button at the bottom right corner when all the questions are answered
- You will not be able to re-enter the exam once the test has been submitted
- A reconfirmation screen will appear. Click “OK” to submit the test
- In case you are disconnected during the test, you may log in to the same URL with the Unique Test Key generated for the test
Admission Procedure
Applicants are required to go through the certain below-mentioned procedures to seek admission in any of the AIEESE (Primary) participating Institutes for the Academic Year 2022-2023.
Step 1.
It is mandatory to appear at the AIEESE (Primary) [All India Engineering Entrance Scholarship Examination (Primary)] examination for admission in AIEESE (Primary) participating institutes. The applicants can apply online mode only.
Step 2.
All the applicants, who are applying for AIEESE (Primary) – 2022, have to take a written test. The successful applicants would be invited for a counseling round.
The total number of students who can apply for admission in our participating institutes is 1000.
Step 3.
All the eligible applicants have to appear at the counseling round for admission in which they would get an option to choose an institute and the desired branch.
After filling all the choices, applicants will get 5 choices of institutes finally and they have to choose one amongst them.
The counseling shall be conducted after the declaration of the result. Here, it is noteworthy that attendance at the counseling is mandatory to avail this facility.
Step 4.
It is after the Counseling round that the candidates shall be provided application receipts. The selected applicants have to report to the institute in person on the given date and time with the admission receipt and original documents required for further proceedings.
Counselling Procedure
All eligible candidates can attend the online counselling of All India Engineering Entrance Scholarship Examination (AIEESE) – 2022 for admission in top government approved and NAAC/NBA/NIRF accredited AIEESE(Primary) participating colleges. You are advised to read the instructions carefully:
During the counselling process, you have to follow 3 simple steps details of which are given below:
Step 1. First of all, you have to login counselling section of the website where you would find approx. 1000 top government approved and NAAC/NBA/NIRF accredited AIEESE(Primary) participating colleges according to your All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEESE) – 2022 marks/ percentage.
Step 2.Now, you select at least 25 and maximum 50 colleges along with branches according to your choices out of the options given to you and submit Rs. 5000/- (Five Thousand) as online counselling fee. Online counselling fee would be adjusted with your first-year college fee and if you withdraw from it for any other reason, it would be refunded to you.
Step 3. Submitting step 2 successfully, you would again log in after 5 working days and download the admission receipt.
Admission receipt: Whichever college and branch you select according to your choice; please note that it will be our sincere effort to provide you with the college and course of your choice. The admission receipt contains the name of the college and other details.
DOCUMENTS VERIFICATION
Verification of Documents: Carry with you the photocopy of your 10th and 12th marks sheets, 10 + 2 provisional certificates, School Leaving certificate, migration certificate & four recent colour passport size photographs at the time of admission. Also, carry the original documents of all certificates for verification purposes only.

2) Admit card of AIEESE (Primary).
3) Seat allotment certificate / Admission receipt.
4) Migration Certificate (Original).
5) Age proof certificate (Birth certificate / Madhyamik / 10th Std. admit card).
6) Madhyamik / 10th level pass certificate and marks sheet / Grade card.
7) Higher Secondary / 12th Std. pass certificate and marks sheet / Grade card.
8) SC / ST / OBC / PH certificate (if applicable) from a competent authority.
9) Character certificate in original from the head of the Institution last attended Original).
10) Passport size photographs.
