Eligibility for Government Seats
(i) Is an Indian citizen.
(ii) The candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English
individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics,
Chemistry, and Biology at the qualifying examination (Intermediate) for UR/EWS Candidate. In
respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes,
the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in qualifying examination be
40% instead of 50%. Further, for Persons with disability the minimum of 45% marks for General- PH and 40% OBC-PH, SC-PH, & ST-PH
(iii) Candidates who are Domicile/Permanent residents of Uttarakhand and have passed both High
school (10th) and Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examination from a recognized educational institution situated in the State of Uttarakhand.
OR
Candidates who are not Domicile/Permanent residents of Uttarakhand but have passed both High school (10th) and Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examination from a recognized educational institutions situated in the State of Uttarakhand shall also be eligible, but they will not be entitled for any type of reservation.
OR
Candidates who are Domicile/Permanent residents of Uttarakhand but have passed High school (10th)
and/or Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examination from a recognized educational institutions situated outside the State of Uttarakhand shall also be eligible.
Eligibility for Private Seats
(i) Is an Indian citizen
(ii) The candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English
individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and
Biology at the qualifying examination for UR/EWS Candidate. In respect of candidates belonging to
Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes, the marks obtained in Physics,
Chemistry and Biology taken together in qualifying examination be 40% instead of 50%. Further, for
Persons with disability the minimum of 45% marks for UR/EWS- Physically Handicapped (PH). 40%
OBC-PH, SC-PH, & ST-PH
(iii) Minimum 17 years on or before 31st December 2020 for BAMS/BUMS/BHMS.
(iv) Not more than of twenty- five years (25 years) on or before the 31st December 2020 of the year of
admission in the first year of the course.
Note : There will be relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit for SC, ST, OBC and PH candidates.
