NUMBER OF SEATS FOR ADMISSION
Total number of 607 seats under 15% All India quota will be available for counseling and admission in the recognized Veterinary Colleges (Annexure- 2) during the academic year 2020-21. College and Category wise number of seats / (seat matrix) shall be made available on Council’s website. However, the total numbers of seats are subject to change for valid reasons at any time.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Nationality:
Candidate should be Indian National
Age
The candidate must have attained the age of 17 years and must not have attained the age of 25 years as on 31st December, 2020. However, in the case of Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST)) candidates, there will be relaxation of maximum of five years (5 years) and three years (3 years) in case
of OBC and 10 years for PH candidates.
Essential Qualification
As per MSVE Regulations, 2016, the candidates under General category should have qualified in the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ or Biotechnology, and have obtained minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the subjects in the qualifying examination. However, as specified by the Government
from time to time the qualifying marks in the case of SC or ST or other special category of students will be 47.5%.
The Admission of students to BVSc &AH degree course shall be on the basis of his or her merit and the ranking in the Merit list of NEET –UG-2020 and subjectto fulfillment of the other criteria as laid down above. No other merit or weightage shall be considered for admission to BVSc &AH degree course
