Online Registration / Application are invited through University Website from eligible candidates on the basis of NEET-UG-2021 and as per Punjab Govt Notification / Prospectus for Admission to UG Medical / Dental Courses in Govt / Private colleges of Punjab. Combined counseling for admission to undergraduate (Medical / Dental) courses in all the Medical / Dental Colleges including Private Universities and Minority Institutes in the State of Punjab will be conducted by BFUHS Faridkot.

Verification of Documents (Sports Category)

Candidates will submit printed/hard copy of online submitted form personally (by hand) in the University office upto 29 November 2021 upto 5:00 PM alongwith Sports Gradation Certificate issued by the Director Sports, Punjab and other supporting self attested copies of certificates/documents. The Merit list and eligibility of the candidates under Sports Category will be determined by the Deptt. of Sports, Govt. of Punjab as per Punjab Govt. Notification/s.

Sports person (Credit shall be given only for the sports achievements made during class XI and XII. The admission shall be made on the basis of inter-se merit of the candidates determined on the basis of gradation (Cat A/B/C)

Verification of Documents (Sikh Minority Category)

Only those Sikh Minority candidates will be allowed to participate who are having Singh or Kaur with their names by birth or got incorporated the same along with supporting affidavit and 2 newspaper advertisement cuttings before 28th Nov 2021 i.e. last day of portal for online application submission by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot.

Candidates are required to appear for physical verification from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on 30th NOVEMBER TO 2nd DECEMBER 2021 with aforementioned documents alongwith Application form and Sikh Minority Affidavit attested by 1^st Class Magistrate and Notary  (All original and one set of photocopies both) at Sri Guru Ram Das Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Vallah, Sri Amritsar.

Eligibility

a) The admission to MBBS/BDS Courses shall be open to candidates who have qualified NEET-UG2021 and eligible as per Punjab Govt. notifications and subsequent amendment(s)/corrigendum(s) and as well as Punjab Govt. Personnel Department letter dated 06.06.1996.

b) Age – Candidate should have attained or will attain the age of 17 (seventeen) years as on 31^st December 2021. Candidates born on or after 02.01.2005  are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply.

c) Other State Candidate  Candidates who are not bonafide resident of Punjab shall be considered during 2nd Round of Counseling after exhausting Punjab State candidates for BDS Course only. For Clarification Please Contact BFUHS Helpline (01639-256232, 256236,257177) 

Candidates who are not bonafide resident of Punjab are eligible for the following seats:-

• All India Quota seats at CMC/CDC Ludhiana
• Sikh/Christian Minority quota seats (if applicable).
• BDS seats after exhausting all bonafide residents of Punjab.
• J&K category seats (if category applied by J&K Migrants)

Number of Rounds

a) Round 1

• Mere paying the requisite amount of fee does not confer his/her right to the provisional allotment. Thus, it is mandatory to report to the  concerned college.  Therefore, the candidate who is interested to join the college shall only pay the tuition fee and report to the concerned provisionally allocated college.
• The candidate who will not report/join the provisionally allotted college within stipulated date and time, he/she cannot claim his/her right for the particular allotted seat and resultantly the vacant seat will be added in the vacancy position for next Round
• The candidate can pay his/her six months tuition fee through online payment gateway only. The icon “Pay fee” is available besides the icon “Allotment Letter” (Demand Draft or Cheque is not accepted.)
• The candidate after joining his/her seat can surrender the seat before the starting of next round of counseling. The candidate has to surrender his/her seat in written and submit it to Principal of concerned college. There is a provision of free exit if the seat is surrendered after Round-I, otherwise the following penalty shall be imposed on account of blocking of seat after Round-II 

b) Round 2

• The candidate who is interested to upgrade his/her seat during Round-II can participate in the Round-II and also, he has to submit his fresh
  choices/preference of Course/College/Quota/Category. By virtue of merit and choice filling, if any seat is allotted during Round-II, it will be treated as final allotment/upgradation and the seat of Round-I will be automatically vacated. Therefore, the candidate cannot claim his/her right on the previous allocated seat of Round-I.
• The tuition fee will be adjusted and the candidate has to pay the partial amount of tuition fee if required or the excess amount of fee paid will be refunded within a month after the completion of process of admission under NEET UG-2021.
• The candidate who has already been registered and paid the registration fee need not to register again for Round-II Counseling
• The candidate who has joined/not joined/surrendered the Round-I allotted seat can participate in Round-II State Counseling. To participate in Round-II the candidate has to submit willingness and deposit the refundable security amount. Thereafter the candidate has to exercise the fresh choices/preferences of Course/College/Quota/Category for Government Medical/Dental Colleges only or both in Government and Private  Medical/Dental Colleges in the State of Punjab as per their willingness.

• 10+1 Detailed Marks card for verification that candidate has studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English
• 10+2 Detailed Marks Card for verification of Eligibility as per Punjab Govt. notification and NEET-UG-2021 Bulletin
• Bonafide Punjab Resident Certificate
• Reserved Category Certificate (if any).
• Exemption certificate (if any).
