Introduction

SVKM’s NMIMS every year conducts the UG Entrance examination for class XII passed out / appearing candidates to be eligible to their UG Programs across campuses. The Entrance Examination is a computer based online examination to be held at the test centers. It is categorized into three different categories namely:

a) NMIMS-NPAT

Commerce: BBA/B.Com/B.Sc. Finance

Economics: B.Sc. Economics

Liberal Arts: BA in Liberal Arts

International Studies: BBA (International Business) in collaboration with Kingston university

Management: Bachelor in Business Management and Marketing

b) NMIMS CET

Engineering: B. Tech / MBA Tech

c) NMIMS LAT

Law: B.A.,LL.B.(Hons) / B.B.A.,LL.B.(Hons)

Online registration Starts: 23 December 2021

Online registration Ends: 20 June 2022

Exam Date Booking / Slot Booking: 1 February 2022 to 23 June 2022

NMIMS 2022 Exam Date (CBT): 1 April 2022 to 26 June 2022

Eligibility

a) B.B.A. / B. Com (Hons.) / B. Sc. Finance.

Minimum of 60% aggregate marks. Mathematics / Statistics or equivalent examination is mandatory for Mumbai/Navi Mumbai/ Bengaluru campus.

b) B.Sc. – Economics

Minimum of 60% aggregate marks. Mathematics / Statistics or equivalent examination is mandatory

c) BBA – Branding and  Advertising

Minimum of 60% aggregate marks from any stream

d) B. A (Hons.) – Liberal arts

Minimum of 60% aggregate marks

e) Bachelor in Business Management & Marketing

Minimum of 60% aggregate marks

f) BBA (International Business) in collaboration with Kingston university.

Minimum of 60% aggregate marks from any stream. Candidate has to  complete 2 years at Mumbai campus and 1 year at Kingstone University. From A levels exam – 112 UCAS Tariff Points. A minimum IELTS score of 6.0; TOEFL 80

g) B. Tech. / MBA Tech.

English as compulsory subject with science or vocational science, minimum 50% marks in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry / Vocational subject for Mumbai / Navi Mumbai / Indore campus & 45% marks in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry / Vocational subject for Shirpur campus OR Candidates passing Diploma Engineering with Minimum 50% is eligible to apply

h) B. Pharm + MBA (Pharma Tech)

Compulsorily 50% marks in PCB or PCM.

i) B.A.,LL.B. (Hons.) / B.B.A., LL.B. (Hons.)

Minimum 50% aggregate marks from any stream

Examination Pattern

a) Exam Pattern for NMIMS-NPAT

• NMIMS-NPAT Exam will comprise of 3 major sections as follows, No Negative marks:
• Type of questions and difficulty level of Tests will be as per SAT Exam pattern.

b) Exam Pattern for NMIMS-CET

• Exam is based on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology of 10+2 curriculum.
• Pharmacy admission test is based on PCM / PCB combination as selected at the time of online registration form
• NMIMS-CET Exam will comprise of 5 major sections as follows, No Negative marks

c) Exam Pattern for NMIMS-LAT

• The NMIMS-LAT Exam will comprise of 5 major sections as follows, No Negative marks:

The Date and Test is as per the availability and therefore the candidate should schedule their examination as soon as he/she receives the communication

RETAKE/S: Candidate can attempt maximum 2 RETAKES in any selected category i.e. (1st main test plus 2 retakes). The highest marks among the total attempts will be considered for respective school merit process. The candidate will be able to select the dates after 20 days from his / her main attempt.

Once the payment is done, candidate cannot add any more School/program preference of test

Selection Process

• Merit list will be prepared based on the performance of the candidate in NMIMS-NPAT / NMIMS-CET / NMIMS-LAT exam
• The decision of the institute will be final in this regard and no inquiries or correspondence in this regard will be entertained
• For Engineering: Candidates will be called for Counselling as per their merit. In the counselling session, candidates will be
  given admission to various specialization as per their merit, choice and availability of specialization as per eligibility criteria.
