Maharasthra MAH CET 2021 Application Open

Course Under MHT CET 2021

MHT-CET-2021 Entrance Examination for Admission to Professional Courses in Engineering/ Technology, Pharmacy and Agricultural Education through State Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai for the academic year 2021-22 will be held at the various examination centers within and outside Maharashtra State.

The candidate seeking admission to First Year Engineering and Technology degree courses, it is mandatory that the candidate must appear for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. 
The candidate seeking admission to First Year Pharmacy/ Pharm. D degree couse it is mandatory that the candidate must appear for Physics, Chemistry as well as Mathematics and/ or Biology

General Eligibility Criteria

All the candidates passed / appearing at the qualifying examination i.e. HSC/12th Standard examination or its equivalent  examination and having Indian Nationality are eligible for appearing for MHT-CET 2021. There is no age limit for admission and appearing to MHT-CET 2021.

 

Educational Eligibility Criteria

5 Years Engineering and Technology

Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subject or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Agriculture or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies and obtained at least 45 % marks (at least 40 % marks, in case of Backward Class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability category candidates belonging to Maharashtra State) in the above subjects taken together; and should obtain non zero positive score in JEE (Main) B.E./B.Tech or the candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in CET and should obtain non zero score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority. However preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining non zero positive score in JEE (Main) B.E./B.Tech over the
candidates who obtained non zero score in CET;
or
Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 45 % marks (at least 40 % marks, in case of Backward Class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability category candidates belonging to Maharashtra State );

 

5 Years Pharmacy

Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biology and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State) in the above subjects taken together;
Should obtain non zero positive score in NEET or the candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in CET and should obtain non zero score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority. However, preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining non zero positive score in NEET over the candidates who obtained non zero score in CET

 

5 Years Pharma D

Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with subjects Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biology and obtained at least 50 % marks (at least 45 % marks in case of candidates of Backward Class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability category belonging to Maharashtra State) in the above subjects taken together;

Or

Passed Diploma Course in Pharmacy from institutes affiliated to State Board and having approval of competent central authority and State Government and obtained at least 50 % marks (at least 45 % marks in case of candidates of Backward Class categories, 
Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability category belonging to Maharashtra State);

The candidate should have obtained non zero positive score in the NEET or the candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in CET and should obtain non zero score in CET. However, preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining non zero positive  score in NEET over the candidates who obtained non zero score in CET

 

PCM Group Exam Scheme

  • The Question Paper will contain Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with Four options (answers)
    for each question
  • Each question will have Four alternatives (answers) out of which only one alternative/answer will
    be the correct.
  • Physics, Chemistry subjects will have 1 mark for each question and Mathematics subject will have
    2 marks for each question.
  • Total duration for the MHT-CET Examination is 180 Minutes in which the Candidate has to solve
    150 questions
  • There is no Negative Marking.
  • The Questions will be displayed on the computer screen one at a time. Candidates are advised not
    to spend too much time on any particular question
  • Questions will be available in English/Urdu/Marathi languages. However, Question Paper in Urdu
    & Marathi will only be available to the candidates who have opted for that particular
    language/medium as preferred Language for Question Paper in the on line CET Application form.
  • Candidates referring to Marathi and Urdu version of the Question paper should take a note of the
    fact that they should refer to the Original English Version in Case of Doubt.
  • In case of any dispute regarding the question, the Original English version will be considered as
    Final.

Examination Centres

The MHT-CET 2021 will be conducted by online mode (CBT-Computer Based Test) at almost all the district headquarters in the State of Maharashtra as well as at Capital Districts of the selected states outside Maharashtra like Bihar, Chattisgarh, Delhi-NCR, Gujarat, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh depending on the availability of the candidates. The eligible candidates passing qualifying examination can select the examination center of their choice
while filling the online application form.
