The candidate seeking admission to First year B. Sc. (Honours) (Agriculture) / B. Sc. (Honours) (Horticulture) / B. Sc. (Honours) (Community Science) / B. Tech. (Biotechnology) / B. Sc. (Honours) (Agri Business Management) Degree courses, it is mandatory that the candidate must appear for PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) or PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology).

 

The candidate seeking admission to First Year B. Tech. (Agriculture Engineering) / B. Tech. (Food Technology) Degree courses, it is mandatory that the candidate must appear for PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics).

 

The candidate seeking admission to First Year B. Sc. (Honours) (Forestry) and B. F. Sc. (Fisheries Science) Degree course, it is mandatory that the candidate must appear for PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology).

General Eligibility Criteria

(A) Candidature Type.

(1) Maharashtra State Candidature.

The Candidates having Domicile of Maharashtra State / School Leaving Certificate mentioning place of birth from Maharashtra / Birth Certificate issued by the Competent Authority from Maharashtra state are eligible for MS candidature.

 

(2) Other State Candidature (OMS). –

The Candidates having Domicile Certificate / Residential Certificate / Residence and Date of Birth Certificate issued from the competent authority other than Maharashtra state are eligible under this Category. Jammu and Kashmir Migrant Candidates will be considered as OMS candidates.

(3) Minority Candidature –

The Candidate belonging to a particular Linguistic or Religious Minority Community and belonging to the State of Maharashtra and as notified by the Government are eligible under this Category.

 

Educational Eligibility Criteria

 B. Sc. (Honours) Agriculture

XII Std. (Science) passed in 10+2 pattern from Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Education or an equivalent Examination, with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics,
Biology or Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Inter Agriculture (with Physics, Chemistry) and English.
and
Obtained score in Common Entrance Test (PCB / PCM) of the respective year conducted by the competent authority. The candidate who have passed qualifying examination without Biology / Mathematics shall have to complete deficiency courses as prescribed by respective university.

 

B. Sc. (Honours) Horticulture

XII Std. (Science) passed in 10+2 pattern from Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Education or an equivalent Examination, with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology or Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Inter Agriculture (with Physics, Chemistry) and English
and
Obtained score in Common Entrance Test (PCB / PCM) of the respective year conducted by the competent authority. The candidate who have passed qualifying examination without Biology / Mathematics shall have to complete deficiency courses as prescribed by respective university

 

B. Sc. (Honours) Forestry

XII Std. (Science) passed in 10+2 pattern from Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Education or an equivalent Examination, with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics,
Biology or Inter Agriculture (with Physics, Chemistry) and English
and
Obtained score in Common Entrance Test (PCB) of the respective year conducted by the competent authority. The candidate who have passed qualifying examination without Biology / Mathematics shall have to complete deficiency courses as prescribed by respective university.

 

B. Tech. (Agriculture Engineering)

XII Std. (Science) passed in 10+2 pattern from Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Education or an equivalent Examination, with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Physics, Chemistry,
Mathematics, Biology
and
Obtained score in Common Entrance Test (PCM) of the respective year conducted by the competent authority. The candidate who has passed qualifying examination without Biology  shall have to complete deficiency courses as prescribed by respective university

 

B. Tech. (Food Technology )

XII Std. (Science) passed in 10+2 pattern from Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Education or an equivalent Examination, with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Physics, Chemistry,
Mathematics, Biology
and
Obtained score in Common Entrance Test (PCM) of the respective year conducted by the competent authority. The candidate who have passed qualifying examination without Biology shall have to complete deficiency courses as prescribed by respective university

 

B. Sc. (Honours) Community Science

XII Std. (Science) passed in 10+2 pattern from Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Education or an equivalent Examination, with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, 
Biology or Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English 
and
Obtained score in Common Entrance Test (PCB / PCM) of the respective year conducted by the competent authority. The candidate who have passed qualifying examination without Biology / Mathematics shall have to complete deficiency courses as prescribed by respective university.

 

B. Tech. (Biotechnology)

XII Std. (Science) passed in 10+2 pattern from Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Education or an equivalent Examination,  with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics,
Biology or Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English 
and
Obtained score in Common Entrance Test (PCB / PCM) of the respective year conducted by the competent authority. The candidate who have passed qualifying examination without Biology / Mathematics shall have to complete deficiency courses as prescribed by respective university

 

B. F. Sc. Degree Course.

XII Std. (Science) passed in 10 + 2 pattern from Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Education or an equivalent Examination, with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics or Inter Agriculture (with Physics, Chemistry) and English
and
Obtained score in Common Entrance Test (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) of the respective year conducted by the competent authority. The candidate who has passed qualifying examination without Mathematics shall have to complete deficiency courses as prescribed by respective university

 

B. Sc. (Honours) (Agri business Management)

XII Std. (Science) passed in 10+2 pattern from Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Education or an equivalent Examination, with PCB, PCM or PCMB and English.
and
Obtain score in Common Entrance Examination (PCB / PCM) of the respective year conducted by the Competent Authority. The candidate who have not offered Biology or Mathematics shall have to complete deficiency courses as prescribed by respective University

 

The candidate must have passed the qualifying examination / (XII Std.-Science) securing not less than 50% marks for General category (Open) and 40% marks in aggregate for reserved categories (SC / ST / VJa / NTb / NTc / NTd / OBC / SBC / EWS).

The proposal for candidates securing 40% aggregate marks in 12th Std (Science) / Qualifying examinations for physically handicapped candidates was submitted to Govt. of Maharashtra for approval. The government resolution in this regards will be implemented accordingly. The candidate other than Maharashtra State (OS) and Institutional quota will also be admitted through MHT-CET / JEE / NEET)

 

PCM Group Exam Scheme

  • The Question Paper will contain Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with Four options (answers) for each question.
  • Each question will have Four alternatives (answers) out of which only one alternative/answer will be the correct.
  • Physics, Chemistry subjects will have 1 mark for each question and Mathematics subject will have 2 marks for each question.
  • Total duration for the MHT-CET Examination is 180 Minutes in which the Candidate has to solve
    150 questions.
  • There is no Negative Marking.
  • The Questions will be displayed on the computer screen one at a time. Candidates are advised not to spend too much time on any particular question.
  • Questions will be available in English/Urdu/Marathi languages. However, Question Paper in Urdu & Marathi will only be available to the candidates who have opted for that particular  Language/medium as preferred Language for Question Paper in the on line CET Application form.
  • Candidates referring to Marathi and Urdu version of the Question paper should take a note of the
    fact that they should refer to the Original English Version in Case of Doubt.
  • In case of any dispute regarding the question, the Original English version will be considered as
    Final.

Examination Centres

The MHT-CET 2021 will be conducted by online mode (CBT-Computer Based Test) at almost all the district headquarters in the State of Maharashtra as well as at Capital Districts of the selected states outside Maharashtra like Bihar, Chattisgarh, Delhi-NCR, Gujarat, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh depending on the availability of the candidates. The eligible candidates passing qualifying examination can select the examination center of their choice
while filling the online application form.
