Introduction

Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune invites online applications for various Under Graduate Courses for academic session 2022-23. Admission process will be done through Computer Based Online Entrance Exam CET.

Eligibity and Selection Process

i) B. Tech (Engineering and Technology)

a) Eligibity: 

  • The candidate should be Indian National.
  • Passed 10+2 examinations with Physics and  Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical vocational subject. Obtained at least 50%(45% in case of candidate belongs to reserved category (SC/ST) above subjects taken together
    OR
  • Passed diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks,in case of backward class categories and persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra state only)

b) Selection Process

  • A Candidate desirous of seeking admission to B.Tech.(Engineering) Programme should fulfill the minimum eligibility condition as stated in points above.
  • He/She must have appeared for the computer based online entrance test (CET Engineering) conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Pune at designated centres.
  • The candidates whose names appear in the list prepared on the basis of marks obtained by them in (CET Engineering) should attend the Counselling and on-the-spot admissions sessions to the various branches and courses as per their ranks in the merit list. The Counselling Sessions combined for all branches will be conducted at Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), College of Engineering, Pune-Satara Road, Pune 411043. Mere appearance in the computer based online entrance test and inclusion of name in the merit list does not confer any automatic rights to secure admission to the programme offered by the college. The selection and admission to the programme is subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria

ii) BBA/BCA

a) Eligibility

  • A candidate applying for the BBA/BCA Programme should have passed HSC (10+2) or equivalent examination from any statutory board situated in India.
  • The candidates who have appeared at the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply provided they complete their examination including practical Examinations, viva / assignments on or before the day of admission to the institute of their choice. Such candidates will have to produce marks statement at the time of admission. The admission of student, will remain provisional until the other necessary certificates in original, are submitted to the institute. If certificates are not submitted by the said date or the eligibility is not granted, the admission would automatically stand cancelled. Under no circumstances will an extension of the deadline be made.

b) Selection Process

  • A Candidate desirous of seeking admission to BBA/BCA Programme should fulfill the minimum eligibility condition as stated in points mentioned above.
  • He/She must have appeared for computer based online entrance test BU-MAT conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Pune at designated centres.
  • The Candidate shall be offered admission on the basis of his/her rank in the final merit list and availability of the seats for a particular programme at a particular Institute of the candidate’s choice at the time of counseling and admission in the concerned Institute. Mere appearance in the computer based online entrance test and inclusion of name in the merit list does not confer any automatic rights to secure admission to the programme offered by the institute. The selection and admission to the programme is subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria.

iii) Bachelor Programme in Hotel Management and Catering Technology BHMCT / B.Sc. (Hospitality and Hotel Administration)

a) Eligibility

  • To be eligible for admission to First Year Bachelor in Hotel Management & Catering Technology (BHMCT) the candidate should have passed the HSC (Std XII) examination of State Board of Secondary and Higher Education or its equivalent examination with compulsory English & secured minimum 45% marks in aggregate at the HSC (Std XII) examination (40% in case of SC/ST)
  • The term ‘aggregate marks’ used here shall mean the grand total marks obtained by the candidate, taken together for all the subjects, based on which the class declaration is made in that particular recognized board from where the candidate has obtained the HSC passing certificate. The candidate should have completed a minimum of 12 years of formal education (on 10 + 2 basis)

b) Selection Process

  • A candidate desirous of seeking admission to the above programme should fulfill the minimum eligibility condition as mentioned above.
  • He / she must have appeared for the HM computer based online Entrance Test conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) at designated centres
  • The candidates shall be selected for admission on the basis of their ranks in the HM computer based online Entrance Test
  • The candidates shall be selected for admission on the basis of their ranks in the Merit List and the availability of the seats in the course of the candidates choice.

iv) B. Pharm and Pharm D.

a) Eligibility for B.Pharma

  • The candidate must be an Indian National. He has to produce a proof in support of his nationality from a competent authority
  • The candidate should be an Indian National and Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the subjects Mathematics or Biology and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks in case of candidates of SC/ST categories), in the above subjects taken together
  • The Candidate must have appeared for the All India Computer Based Online Entrance i.e. B.Tech, B.Pharma / Pharm D conducted by  this University. Candidates who have passed Diploma course in Pharmacy with minimum 45% Marks from AICTE approved colleges from Maharashtra State or its equivalent will also be eligible for the admission to First Year B.Pharma Course
  • Candidates who have appeared or who are likely to appear for the qualifying examination i.e. H.S.C. or equivalent but whose results have not been as yet declared can also appear for this entrance test provided they have offered the above mentioned subjects at the said examination

b) Eligibility for Pharma D

  • The candidate must be an Indian National. He has to produce a proof in support of his nationality from a competent authority
  • 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects : Mathematics or Biology.
  • A pass in D.Pharm course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmcy Act.
  • Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.
  • Candidate appering in H.S.C. or Second Year D.Pharm will also be eligible for appering in Pharm.D.

c) Selection Process

  • A Candidate desirous of seeking admission to B.Pharm/Pharm D. Programme should fulfill the minimum eligibility condition as stated in points mentioned above the final admission will be offered based solely on the merit obtained at the all India computer based online entrance test B.Tech, B.Pharm/Pharm D. ABON conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University),Pune.
  • He/She must have appeared for the B.Tech, B.Pharm/Pharm D. ABON all India computer based online entrance test conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Pune at designated centres.
  • The Candidate shall be offered admission on the basis of his/her rank in the final merit list and availability of the seats for a particular programme at the college of the candidate’s choice at the time of counseling and admission. Mere appearance in the all India computer based online entrance test and inclusion of name in the merit list does not confer any automatic rights to secure admission to the programme offered by the college. The selection and admission to the programme is subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria

 

v) B.Sc. Biotech.

a) Eligibility

Candidate who have successfully passed the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2course) or equivalent examination with minimum 45% (40% for SC/ST) marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and /or Mathematics and passed in English, from a recognized board is eligible for admission to the First year of the B.Sc. Biotechnology course.

b) Selection Process

  • A Candidate desirous of seeking admission to B. Sc. Biotechnology Programme should fulfill the minimum eligibility condition as stated in points mentioned above the final admission will be offered  based solely on the merit obtained at the all India entrance computer based online Entrance Test B.Tech, B.Pharm/Pharm D. ABON conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University),Pune
  • He/She must have appeared for the B.Tech, B.Pharm/Pharm D. ABON Test, conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University),Pune at designated centres.
  • The candidate shall be offered admission on the basis of his/her rank obtained in the merit list and availability of the seats to the programme. Mere appearance in the computer based online Entrance Test and inclusion of name in the merit list does not confer any automatic rights to secure admission to the programme offered by the institute. The selection and admission to the programme is subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria.

 

vi) Bachelor of Clinical Optometry (B.Optom)

a) Eligibility

  • Candidate who have successfully passed the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2course) or equivalent examination with minimum 45% (40% in case of students from SC/ST category) marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and /or Mathematics and passed in English, from a recognized board is eligible for admission to the First year of the B. Optometry.
  • A student once enrolled for this course, will not be given transfer certificate, or cannot leave the course, unless he/she pays fees for the duration of the course.
  • The candidate seeking admission to the course should complete 17 years of age on or before of the year of the admission to the course
  • A candidate who fails to fulfill the relevant eligibility requirements as mentioned above will not be considered eligible for admission to the B. Optometry course even if he/she is placed in the merit list of the B.Tech, B.Pharm/Pharm D. ABON The candidates are advised not to submit their application forms for appearing for B.Tech, B.Pharm/Pharm D. ABON if they do not fulfill any or all of the relevant eligibility requirements

b) Selection Process

  • A Candidate desirous of seeking admission to B. Optometry Programme should fulfill the minimum eligibility condition as stated in points mentioned above. The final admission will be offered based solely on the merit obtained at the all India computer based online entrance test B.Tech, B.Pharm/Pharm D. ABON onducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University),Pune
  • He/She must have appeared for the B.Tech, B.Pharm/Pharm D. ABON computer based online Entrance Test, conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University),Pune at designated centres.
  • Mere appearance in the computer based online entrance test and inclusion of name in the merit list does not  confer any automatic rights to secure admission to the programme offered by the College. The selection and admission to the programme is subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria.

 

vii) Bachelor of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology (B. ASLP)

a) Eligibility

  • Admission to First year B.ASLP is through B.Tech, B.Pharm/Pharm D., ABON
  • Only those candidates who satisfy or are likely to satisfy the relevant eligibility requirements for admission to the course will be considered eligible to appear for the entrance and subsequently for admission to the course.
  • The candidate applying for admission to B.ASLP course should have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination from a recognized board with minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
  • The applicant/ candidate should have studied: Physics, Chemistry and any one of the subject Biology/ Mathematics/ Computer Science/ Statistics/ Electronics/ Psychology at 10+2 level
  • The candidate shall have studied English as a subject in the qualifying examination and passed the same.

b) Selection Process

  • A Candidate desirous of seeking admission to First Year Bachelor of Audiology & Speech Language Pathology course undergraduate programme should fulfill the minimum eligibility condition as stated in mentioned above. The final admission will be offered based solely on the merit obtained at the all India computer based online entrance test “B.Tech, B.Pharm/Pharm D., ABON conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Pune
  • He/ She must have appeared for the “B.Tech, B.Pharm/Pharm D., ABON” computer based online entrance Test, conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Pune at designated centres.
  • Mere appearance in the computer based online entrance test and inclusion of name in the merit list does not confer any automatic rights to secure admission to the programme offered by the College. The selection and admission to the programme is subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria.

 

viii) B. Sc. Nursing

a) Eligibility

  • The candidate should have passed H.S.C. I.C.S.E., P.U.C. of any recognized Board/University in India or any other examination equivalent to 10 + 2(Higher/Senior) Secondary Examination after twelve years of study from any institution situated in India, candidates should have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, biology and English individually and must have obtained 45% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and 40% in case of SC/ST students
  • Candidates who are likely to appear, or who have appeared for qualifying examination but whose results have not been declared will also be considered eligible for appearing for the B.Sc. Nursing provided they fulfill the eligibility conditions mentioned above. The candidates who fail to fulfill the above mentioned conditions regarding eligibility will not be considered eligible for admission to B.Sc. Nursing course, even if their names appears in the merit list.
  • The candidate must be an Indian national and should have completed 17 years of age on 31 December of Admission year

b) Selection Process

  • A Candidate desirous of seeking admission to B.Sc. Nursing Programme should fulfill the minimum eligibility condition as stated in points  mentioned above.
  • He/She must have appeared for the B.Tech, B.Pharm/Pharm D. ABON Test, conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Pune at designated centres.
  • The Candidate shall be offered admission on the basis of his/her rank in the final merit list and availability of the seats for a particular programme at a particular College of the candidate’s choice at the time of counseling and admission in the concerned College

ix) PB. B.Sc. Nursing

a) Eligibility

  • The students will be admitted according to the total marks obtained by the candidate in the final year of the G.N.M. course recognized by the Indian Nursing Council and Registration by State Nursing Council situated in India.
  • Candidates must have passed Higher Secondary examination (10+2) along with G.N.M. from the nursing institute recognized by the Indian Nursing Council and Registration by State Nursing Council situated in India.
  • Candidates must be medically fit to undergo the course. The candidates who fail to fulfill the above mentioned conditions regarding eligibility will not be considered eligible for admission to P. B. B. Sc. Nursing course, even if their names appear in the merit list.

b) Selection Process

  • A Candidate desirous of seeking admission to P. B. B. Sc. Nursing Programme should fulfill the minimum eligibility condition as stated in points mentioned above.
  • He/She must have appeared for the P. B. B. Sc. Nursing Test, conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Pune at designated centres.
  • The Candidate shall be offered admission on the basis of his/her rank in the final merit list and availability of the seats for a particular programme at a particular College of the candidate’s choice at the time of counseling and admission in the concerned College .

x) B.B.A. LLB ( 5 Years )

a) Eligibility

Minimum marks in qualifying examination for admission – As prescribed by Bar Council of India, Rules of Legal Education 2008, the applicant shall have passed 10 + 2 examination in any of
the faculties of any recognized University or an examination recognized as equivalent there to and have obtained more than 45% of the total marks in case of general category and more
than 40% of the total marks in case of SC & ST applicants.

b) Selection Process

  • BB.A LLB Entrance Test is a ranking examination for admission to BA LLB 5 Years Course for session.
  • Applicant may kindly note that mere appearance in the entrance test and inclusion of name in the merit list does not confer any automatic rights to secure admission to the programme offered by the institute. The selection and admission to the programme is subject to fulfilling the admission criteria, eligibility, any such criteria as may be prescribed by the University and availability of seats to the particular programme and institute at the time of Counselling.
  • The Admissions provided to candidates based on the result of the entrance test will be purely provisional and subject to the fulfillment of eligibility criteria as mentioned in the Information brochure.

xi) BA LLB ( 5 Years )

a) Eligibility

Minimum marks in qualifying examination for admission – As prescribed by Bar Council of India, Rules of Legal Education 2008, the applicant shall have passed 10 + 2 examination in any of the faculties of any recognized University or an examination recognized as equivalent there to and have obtained more than 45% of the total marks in case of general category and more than 40% of the total marks in case of SC & ST applicants.

b) Selection Process

  • BA LLB Entrance Test is a ranking examination for admission to BA LLB 5 Years Course for academic session.
  • Applicant may kindly note that mere appearance in the entrance test and inclusion of name in the merit list does not confer any automatic rights to secure admission to the programme offered by the institute. The selection and admission to the programme is subject to fulfilling the admission criteria, eligibility, any such criteria as may be prescribed by the University and availability of seats to the particular programme and institute at the time of Counselling.
  • The Admissions provided to candidates based on the result of the entrance test will be purely provisional and subject to the fulfillment of eligibility criteria as mentioned in the Information brochure.

xii) B.A.in Commercial  Photography / B.A. in Photography and Cinematography

a) Eligibility for B.A.in Commercial  Photography

  • Candidates who have cleared the HSC or equivalent exam with a minimum passing grade from any stream (Science, Arts, Commerce) will be considered eligible for admission

  • A candidate seeking admission to BVSP B.A. in Commercial Photography (3 Year Full Time), B.A. in Photography & Cinematography (3 Year Full Time) and M.A. in Commercial Photography & Cinematography (2 Year Full Time) should fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria stated above.
  • Candidates have to appear for a personal interview to be conducted online and will undergo an evaluation of their Student Portfolio (soft copy of images shot by him/her) submitted in PDF format.
  • The seats will be based on their performance in the personal interview plus the evaluation of their submitted portfolios.
  • Students who clear the process will be asked to deposit the course fees & required documents along with the admission form within the next 15 days after the declaration of the result to ensure that they secure their admission.

c) Personal Interview

  • The Personal interview & Evaluation of student Portfolio will only be conducted online & shortlisted students will be intimated about the time & date well in advance
