Avoid these 10 Mistakes while Applying &preparing for NTA NEET

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) which is One of the most Reputed exams in India,
Conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) ,is an objective based entrance examination held

Now, In this Article we are going to discuss about some common mistakes which Candidates make
while applying and preparing for NEET  which definitely should be avoided by you.
So, Lets start our Today’s article.

 

APPLICATION FORM MISTAKES:

 

 1) Choosing Wrong State of Eligibility (for 15% all India Quota):
Some Candidates choose wrong State of Eligibility. Example, If your domicile state is Himachal
Pradesh but you choose State of Eligibility as Chandigarh because you are currently living in
Chandigarh for studying purposes or with family temporarily, then this will be counted as a
major mistake.
Also this must be noted that the applicants belonging to Jammu Kashmir, Andhra Pradesh and
Telangana will not be eligible for this 15% All India Quota. If they claim eligibility, they must submit
online Self Declaration which will be generated and printed automatically along with confirmation
page for the record and to present the same during counselling. The Online Self Declaration will
be verified at the time of Counselling and if everything went correctly, Candidates of
J&K,AP,Telangna will become eligible for 15% Quota.

 

 2) Spellings do not match as per Aadhaar Card:
Some Candidates make this mistake of writing their Name/Date of Birth which doesn’t match with
their Aadhaar Card . For example, If Candidate’s name on Aadhar Card is ‘Rishab Kumar Arora’
and he mentions his name in NEET form as ‘Rishab Kumar’ or ‘Rishab Arora’ or ‘Rishab’, then this
will not be accepted.
If you have made any Mistakes in filling Application form, then Please wait for Correction window
provided by NTA but do not fill Application Form another time.

 

3)OFFLINE PAYMENT:
Some Candidates do not like to pay through online modes of payment because of privacy or any
security issues. But, They should know that the only mode of payment of Fees for NTA NEET
 is via online – Debit Card, Credit Card ,Net Banking ,e-wallets.

 

 4)WRONG PHOTOGRAPHS
Some Candidates post very casual photographs in the application form. Example, Some may
upload photos of them wearing Sunglasses or any Candidate who do not wear turban usually
but upload photographs of himself in turban in the application form. Also, many upload blur or
unclear photos. So, take care of these common mistakes. Always upload simple and clear
photograph of yourself with light background .

 

 5) PHOTOGRAPH AND SIGNATURE SIZES
Some Candidates upload their photograph and signature in size other than the
prescribed/required size.
You should always take care of the dimensions they have prescribed. You can use various tools
online to edit your photograph for the right dimensions.

 

 6)INCORRECT POSTAL ADDRESS:
Candidates should always fill correct POSTAL ADDRESS and the pin code. Failing to do so might
lead to many problems in future.

 

 7) WRONG QUALIFICATION CODE:
