The National Law University Delhi invites online applications for admission to B.A.LL.B.(Hons.), LL.M. and Ph.D. Programmes for the Academic Year 2022-23.

The National Law University, Delhi will conduct All India Law Entrance Test 2022 (AILET 2022) for admission for Five year B.A.L.L.B. (Hons.), L.L.M. and Ph.D Programme on Sunday, May 1st, 2022 from 10.00 AM to 11.30 AM at all India level.

Eligibility

Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2 System) or Equivalent Examination with 45% marks (40% in case of SC/ST/Persons with Disabilities). The candidates appearing for the 12th standard annual examination in 2022 are eligible to apply.

Entrance Test Scheme

The AILET has 150 Multiple Choice Questions for 150 marks that must be attempted within 1 hour 30 minutes. The AILET has sections on English, General Knowledge, Basic Mathematics, Logical Reasoning and Legal Aptitude.

Negative marking: There will be Negative Marking in AILET 2022-23. The criteria for negative marking will be based on the formula 0.25*4=1 that means per wrong answer 0.25 Marks will be deducted. Therefore, four wrong answers will lead to deduction of 1 Mark.

 

Application Fee

Rs 3050/- for General / OBC Categories

Rs 1050/- for SC/ST/PwD

Below Poverty Line (BPL) applicants of SC/ST category are exempted from application fee.

 

Total Number of Seats

Total: 110

(110 seats on AILET merit; 5 seats each for Foreign Nationals and OCI/PIO for direct admission on merit). Foreign Nationals/OCI/PIO are exempted from AILET, but should have 65% marks in the qualifying examination.
