Important Dates

Eligibility

Pass in 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / any technical vocational subject* as optional, from a recognized Board, with minimum 50 % aggregate marks taken together in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects
* Technical vocational subject must be related to Chemical / Civil / Computer / Electrical / Mechanical streams

Rs 600/- Application Fee AND Rs 1400/- Entrance Fee Per Course

Manipal Entrance Exam MET

a) Pattern of Examination

b) Scheme of Examination

• MCQ: +4 for every correct answer, -1 for every wrong answer, 0 for every unanswered question
• NAT: +4 for every correct answer, 0 for every wrong, 0 for every unanswered question

c) Online Test Slot Booking (OTBS)

• OTBS password will be emailed to the candidates registered email id for the applications that are complete in all respects, 7 days before the start of MET 2021 for the respective program As per booking schedule, login to the online test booking system (OTBS) with OTBS User Id: Your application number and OTBS password. Applicants can login to the OTBS to book your test date / slot of their choice amongst the test schedule
• The bookings are done on a first-come-first-serve basis and subject to slot availability. A slot once booked, CANNOT be changed under any circumstance

d) Admit Card

On completion of the test slot booking, OTBS will generate the e-hall ticket for download
You are requested to read and understand the instructions given in the e-Hall Ticket. Any discrepancies in the e-Hall ticket, please email admissions@manipal.edu with the hall ticket as attachment and the nature of the discrepancy

The hard copy of e-Hall Ticket MUST be produced at the time of admission

e) Number of Attempts

There will be 2 attempts for available for B.Tech. Slot booking guidelines is as follows

• Candidates applying on or before 30 April 2022 or the last date applicable for OTBS for 1st attempt will be eligible for second attempt with additional fee payment of Rs.1400, in Phase 2
• Candidates giving first attempt in Phase 2 are NOT eligible for second attempt in Phase 2
• Based on the above mentioned eligibility, you can go for the second attempt by making online payment of Rs.1400/- in OTBS , subject to availability of seats. The Second attempt slot may be booked during 03rd June and 04th June.
