About

Joint Admission Counseling (JAC) for admission to Undergraduate Programmes in premier Delhi Government funded universities, offering Engineering, Architecture and Management programmes started in the year 2014, as an initiative of the Govt. of NCT of Delhi, to avoid multiple admission counselings and save the candidates and their guardian from the resulting inconvenience because of shifting of students from one institution to the other during the admission process. 

This year, Delhi Technological University (DTU), Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW), Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi (IIITD), Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT) and Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University(DSEU) are  participating in JAC which is being conducted online with the support of the National Informatics Centre (NIC).

The admissions are done on the basis of rank of students in Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). This year, 6175 seats in Engineering offered by the five participating institutions are to be allotted through JAC Delhi counseling. For the B.Arch programme offered by IGDTUW and NSUT, there will be separate counseling.

Commencement of Online Registration and choice filling. : September 24, 2021 (Friday) from 10:00 AM

Closing Date and Time for Online Registration (Registration Form filling and Choice filling.) : October 24, 2021 (Sunday) till 11:59 P.M.

ONLINE VERIFICATION OF DOCUMENTS : October 25, 2021 (Monday) to October 26, 2021 (Tuesday)

Declaration of seat allotment result : Oct. 28, 2021 (Thursday) (After 05:00 P.M.)

Payment of academic fee of Rs. 1,12,000 through  JAC Delhi portal : Oct. 29 (Friday) to Nov. 2 (Tuesday) 2021 (upto 5:00 PM only)

Confirmation of admission / intimation of deficiencies to the candidates : Nov. 3, 2021 (Wednesday) (before 2:00PM)

Chance to clear the deficiencies by uploading new documents/visiting allotted institute personally : Nov. 3, 2021 upto 5:00 PM

Online seat freezing / Withdrawal of admission : Immediately after confirmation of admission. Last date and time: Nov. 3, 2021 (upto 11:59 PM)

Eligibility

Admission to B.Tech Programmes in DTU, IGDTUW, NSUT, DSEU and Dual Degree (B.Tech + MBA) in IGDUW will be strictly made on the Common Rank List (CRL) Rank in JEE (Main) 2021 Paper 1 whereas the admission to IIIT-Delhi will be based on percentile score obtained in Paper 1 of JEE Main 2021 and bonus points for achievements in various areas like Olympiads, Programming Contest, National Talent Search, Sports, Culture, Chess, Innovation, etc. as prescribed in Chapter 8 of prospectus

Region

85% seats in all the participating institutions are earmarked for Resident Indian Nationals belongings Delhi region (A Candidate passing the qualifying examination from a recognized School / College / Institute located within the National Capital Territory NCT of Delhi) while the rest 15% seats are earmarked for Resident Indian Nationals belongings to outside Delhi region.
